So, this is where I try to sound interesting...
I am a Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based wedding, commercial, and family photographer. I am originally from Shreveport, Louisiana where I first became interested in photography after a sixth grade project. For the next decade or so, I thought of it as a hobby, but never a career. That came while at LSU, working for the student paper, The Reveille. After finishing an MBA a few years later, I started shooting fulltime to avoid a cubicle life and the 9-5 drudge that comes with it.
In 2008, I opened a studio in Birmingham, Alabama servicing Atlanta Metro and Northern Alabama. After a too-brief year, I returned to Louisiana to continue building my career at home.
I currently accept 30 wedding bookings a year to balance with my other work (and life). I truly love my job and try to reflect that in every shot. Take a look and drop me a line if you want more info!

So I can’t get it rotate? But either way, in New Zealand. My travel buddy bailed the day before, so I am headed out alone! Very fun so far, and making my way south….ps, its freezing. I will try to upload a video as well….if not, cheers
Rotorua, New Zealand
I have to apologize….I have been so slammed this summer. I have totally been blowing this off…..I built a new website, shot weddings in Atlanta, South Carolina, California, and all over Louisiana. Plus, so much commercial and session work. Its been a long, wonderful summer. I am leaving for New Zealand tomorrow for a much needed vacation…but I wanted to post a few samples from the last few months so people would know I was still kicking!

Just wanted to throw up a few from a wedding a few weeks back. I have been on the road a ton the last few weeks, and have once again, gotten behind on my blog! I will be playing catch up this week…I promise. This wedding was in a fabulous venue north of Atlanta…I will post more soon! Atlanta, GA.

Went up to Birmingham this weekend for April & Gabe’s wedding this week. It was great to see all of my friends and hang out at my favorite places (Dave’s on 20th). Brendon and I shot the wedding together, so it was also a ton of fun to shoot with him. Either way, we got some great results! Tuscaloosa, AL.

…the final of a bunch of shoots with this great couple. Needless to say, this one was my favorite. I loved the Lucky Dog shots! New Orleans, LA.

A really fun shoot last week…we even had oysters to cap it off. I am looking forward to the big day! New Orleans, LA.

…went back through this wedding today while working on it and thought I would throw up some of my favorites. I only posted a sneak peek some time ago, but had some great results! New Orleans, LA.

Just a shot from a bridal a few months ago…her wedding was this month but I was unavailable. I really enjoyed working with her and wish I could have been there. New Orleans, LA.

One of my friends in Birmingham, Shelley, had me take a few photos of her parent’s dog for a Mother’s Day present…Martin definitely had some energy, but once we got him settled, he was a great subject
